The main focus in the program was placed on the discussion of AT trouble-shooting and repair issues; the participants got acquainted with new trouble-shooting devices, scan tools, hydro-testers, valve body testers and other equipment and specialized tools; it is exactly here that answers to the most critical questions were given and the directions for the industry’s further development were determined.

Apart from the business program, for the first time during the seminar, the “Golden Ten” Lottery was held. The participants were to answer ten questions in the sphere of automatic transmission repair; and the main prize for the winner was 10 000 rubles. Following on from the results of all the given answers, the prize remained in the prize fund and will be cumulated to next year’s lottery prize. As of today, the “Golden Ten” prize fund amounts to 20 000 rubles, and it will be competed for in August 2009.

The organizers are constantly improving their performance and are forecasting an even bigger success for the 5th sci-tech seminar “Design, repair and diagnostics of automatic transmissions” in 2009.
